The only issue I had was with ease of use. Seems straightforward, but it doesn't stick to the rug itself enough to not come off while laying the rug down in place with the tape on the rug. It has to be pressed on the rug to get the tape to stick. You can't press it on because it's sticky on both sides. You could potentially leave the plastic strip on it while putting the tape on the rug, but I didn't think of that at the time. I put the tape on the floor then placed the carpet on it. Works perfectly. The rugs that used to move around even with a rubber underside, don't move anymore.

After reading your post, I removed the mats and checked the car floor closely. Although not noticeable by eye, I did feel some cuts and on pressing them slightly they revealed some points (the cuts in the pictures were revealed only when pressed). Thanks for the post mate !
